Feel Good Routines

These wise words (often interchangeably attributed to Gandhi, Ralph Waldo Emerson, or Charles Reade) are the perfect description of the power of habits in our lives.

In other words, we become what we do. So to help keep your vibration high and your actions in accordance with behaving in a way that will see you to achieve your goals and kinda, live your best life, here are our feel good routines that we recommend, habitually.

  • Tell yourself, upon waking and walking into the bathroom, just how gorgeous and worthy you are with this mirror mantras: "everyday in everyday I get better and better.
  • Say no to things you genuinely don’t want to do.
  • Wake up just a tiny bit earlier and utilise the precious morning time for extra nourishment, whether it be putting more TLC into cooking yourself breakfast or a cheeky couple of extra minutes of meditation, make time.
  • Do something for someone else, whether it be a favour, a random act of kindness to a stranger or even a simple “hey, how are you” text can go a long way when it comes to generating positive karma.
  • Set boundaries with family and coworkers.
  • Connect with friends—all it takes is a call or text with a close friend to kick off a solid conversation full of laughs, which is an instant way to 
  • Take a walk or go on a run and be in nature (even if it’s just around the block).
  • If you belong to a gym don’t let your membership go to waste. Book your favourite class and shake your ass.
  • Unplug and turn off all notifications while you read a chapter or two from your favourite book, or buy a new one and nurturing your intellect by starting to read more frequently.
